Recently someone left a comment on one of my videos saying it was wrong to encourage people to dedicate themselves to art—by free choice, of course—and that there were too many people who, upon retiring and having nothing better to do, began to learn or resume art studies they might have abandoned in the past. My response was that I did not agree with such statements. Who can tell another person how to use their creativity? Does age determine whether someone belongs to the art world? Do years of study and research have to be many, painful, and terrible in order to bear fruit? The internet is already full of images.
